Hongkong has been on my bucket list forever, and in 2025 after a long work trip to Taiwan, I finally made it — even if only for 48 hours during a transfer in late August.
Those two days were a whirlwind: food, sights, photography, and some truly kind interactions that made the city feel instantly familiar. A real Fiebertraum in the best possible way.
There are many shot in black and white. A few of these are also included in colour , but I hope you also love how they look stripped down like this.
Two places really stayed with me that hot and humid day. The first was the Henderson building, so striking that I kept finding myself walking closer and closer to it. The second was the Man Mo Temple, which I only visited by accident — just in time to see sunlight pierce through the roof and blend with the smoke of hundreds of incense sticks – A cinematic moment.
After a few intense days, it’s hard to put into words just how photogenic this city is. Dense, vertical, and constantly in motion — yet in some frames you can see how closely it’s wrapped by jungle. That contrast became especially clear from the views at the Peak.
A place I hope to return to very soon.
