I never get tired of this city. We’ve been visiting for over a decade, and somehow it always feels new. The food, the light, the chaos, the small details — it’s endlessly inspiring.
This series is composed of different aspects — Architectural details and urban landscapes in black and white and colour. Focus is set on architecture and geometry. Some shots were taken from the highway, others from the river, and a few while walking around. There is also a mix of blurred night shots from the river cruises, banana flowers from the botanical garden, and a few other favourite motives. I love how the colours blend when the camera drifts out of focus, yet the scene still reveals itself. It’s always a tough call between colour and black & white…
A special evening was dinner at a rooftop restaurant, where we caught an incredible sunset (even the staff pulled out their phones …).
Hope you enjoy this set!
